personnel consultancy
PDR aims to help your business performance and profitability through correct and fair employment practices. Our expert, objective and cost-effective service includes:
- Employment relations
- Terms and conditions of employment
- Personnel policies and procedures
- Employment law advice
- Absence and timekeeping management
- Performance review/appraisal processes
- Internal communication processes
- Due diligence for acquisitions and mergers
Part of your initial, free and without obligation consultation will include an independent assessment - or 'healthcheck' - of your company's personnel policies, procedures and processes (including absence and timekeeping management). This will be against the benchmark of good practice as currently recognised by the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development and the Investors in People Standard.

We will then provide you with diagnostic feedback on your areas of good practice in employment relations and personnel policies and highlight those which need development. If so desired, we will submit a proposal for carrying out any consultancy work to design and implement any policies, procedures and processes - such as absence and timekeeping management - tailored to suit the needs of your business.
Registered with Business Link North West, we may be able to access funding to assist with the cost of consultancy work undertaken with small-and medium-sized businesses.
All of our employment relations and consultancy work is undertaken in accordance with the Code of Practice of the Institute of Business Consulting, as required by the Certified Management Consultant (CMC) accreditation.
Our Professional Indemnity Insurance covers us for liability up to £5,000,000.
